The Late Shows 18th and 19th May 2012
Theresa Easton and myself will again be taking part in ‘The Late Shows’, www.thelateshows.org.uk/home.html. On the Friday evening only, venues in the Ouseburn will open their doors from 5-11pm and we will be opening our studio as part of that event as well as opening again on Saturday night, at the same time, with all other venues across the City taking part. It’s a great opportunity to come and look around the studio and find out information of forthcoming classes in glass fusing, glass silk-screening, glass painting as well as printing and book making. You can also see the commissions that myself and Theresa have undertaken throughout the past year.

International Summer Academy: ‘Bild-Werk’ Frauenau.
I have just returned from Bild-Werk Frauenau, Bavaria, Germany teaching decorative techniques for flat glass in August. I had a great time working with students at all different stages of their careers, many professional people delving into the world of glass, as well as students fresh out of Technical School. I again had my fantastic technical assistant Birgit Offner working alongside me helping me with translations as well as providing myself and my students with invaluable technical support.
